Back in frenchieland

It's been a while since I posted something on here, or even visited. Shoot I actually forgot the web address...had to look it up. And it's my own blog!
Anyway so much has happened since I last posted something. I did an internship in Prague for 5 months, then went on to Hong for another 4 months for a semester exchange, and now I'm back in Paree. It's a new year, so hopefully I'll see if the newness will help me keep to posting up my thoughts and experiences. I need to be more disciplined.

Gosh I cannot believe my 2 years here will soon be over. Yup I graduate in July and it seems like I just started or rather that I still have so much left to accomplish. Like perfect my french for one thing! I need to do a few posts on my experiences in Prague and Hong Kong in between updates on how life is going back in Paris. But I am extremely glad to report that I no longer live in the school's residence in Cergy (a really dreadful suburb of Paris). I'm now a bonafide Parisien and I love it! I can now feel like I'm living the true French experience that I came here for (who cares about school, yuck!). Lol.

So I'm feeling very anti-valentine's day this year and I don't know why. I'm usually single when this day comes around (I guess a girl can't have everything!). What can I say, this single gal is holding out for the one true love. Haha. Yeah, well anyway I'm really hating valentine's this year, and last year my heart was in way worse shape but I don't recall having such Valentine's day apathy. I need to find something to do with myself whilst so-called lovers are basking in love all around me (arghhh bite me!). Or maybe someone will decide to make that grand gesture and surprise me with their confession of pure, undying love for me. Ok let me stop :). But I'll be back with more of Hong Kong and Prague, and continue on as this year unfolds whats in store for me. Ohhhh the possibilities...

And what was I saying about my school again?

This is where I'm currently spending thousands against my future earnings. This place is preparing me for a successful future career in business. You'll find that hard to believe after you watch this video. Its supposed to be an official presentation of the school, but the more creative, the better. It's a French thing, most schools produce a 'Lipdub' video every year, but this is hands down the best I've seen. Go ESSEC!!!

Last night I had a dream

Last night I had a dream
that I was traveling in this place,
where people were actually welcoming, warm, helpful
and they smiled a lot.
I didn't get stared at all the time,
and no one made ludicrous assumptions about who I was
or what I was doing there,
I woke up and realized hot damn!
I was traveling through Africa.
Soon come my love, soon come.

(P.S. This literally was a dream)
